Jack had his first game today (4/28/18) as a Minnesota Twin! With the distraction of the infield dirt and the helicopters flying over, he did pretty good. Adaline was mad that she couldn't be by daddy while he was coaching but after she calmed down she had fun watching brother!

This girl keeps stealing my dish towels off the kitchen handle. If there isn’t one there she opens the drawer and gets out a new one....needless to say I’m washing way too many dish towels lately.

Cake faces for daddy’s birthday!

I haven’t gone to many of jack’s baseball practices being J’s the coach but with J in the field this week I went Wednesday. When he pays attention and doesn’t play in the dirt, he’s pretty good!

Jack made me a picture and wrote mom on it all by himself

We made water beads today. Kids love playing with these squishy things

It’s the month of the military child and the USO at Schofield put on a Books, Bears and Brunch event for us. The kids got a story read to them and they both got a book called Hero Dad, along with a bear to bring home and build. Everything was free for us and we are incredibly grateful for the USO and everything they do for us military families.

So this post is about me because I’m pretty honored. I do very little volunteering compared to some of these women that were awarded with me, but it was very thoughtful of the Battalion to recognize us spouses for our commitment to the marines, sailors, and families of 1/12.

Pidge thinks she needs my coffee more than I do today...
