Skate park and park this morning!

A nice walk to the ponds last night. No turtles but we saw a dead puffer fish! The kids found a couple shells to bring home

Usually they both wake up extra early and come snuggle in my bed. Today they decided to let me sleep in and played in jack’s room 

On sundays we swim!

Swim lessons yesterday! Adaline was supposed to be doing the back float but she made Ms. Paige do all the work while she kicked her feet up on the float board to relax

During quiet time, we usually read a few chapters in his book, he reads me a book, and then he has to do a reading lesson online or in a workbook before he can have free play on his tablet. He told me today I wasn’t a cool mom because I was making him do all this on a weekend in the summer...what he doesn’t realize though is I’m ok with not being cool...

Nap time is over and she’s still sleepy 

Our couch was falling apart and since were moving soon, we threw it out and are left with two recliners. Apparently we really only need one...

took the kids to Waimanalo Country Farms today to see the sunflower fields. I promised them if they took good pictures for me we could get a fresh squeezed lemonade when we were done...Apparently what they gave me, they thought was good. Silly kids.

No turtles on our walk today but we did stop at the park on our way home!

Adalines gymnastics today!

We have jack enrolled in boys gymnastics. He had a hard time because some of the other kids were better at something than he was. After I pulled him aside and told him that “it’s ok if someone’s better at something than you are, you might be better at something else than them and you just have to keep trying,” he got right back in there and had fun. 

Dance class!

Took the kids to the movie Sunday afternoon
