we did a quick trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. These kids were troopers in the car ride and hikes! our first hike was nice and warm and the second day of hikes were snowy, icy, rainy, and cold!

Both kids had their last day of school today! Jack will be on to 3rd grade and Adaline kindergarten in the fall!

A spring time cold is making its way through our house. The kids have been miserable

I woke up this morning and Ads was sitting at the counter looking at her flowers from her recital. Then she insisted I take her picture 

 Adaline's Dance Recital. She was so excited to go and dance on stage for everyone. She did as well as a 5 year old can on her ballet and tap songs and loved receiving her flowers at the end. But at the final curtain call when the house lights came on and she could see the audience she got scared and cried. It was a long, and late night but she says she wants to do dance again in the Fall.  (The Studio requested we not take pictures during the performance so we wouldn't blind or distract the dancers so unfortunately these are the best pictures I could sneak in.)
