Ads had her first cheer event today! She's a pretty great little cheerleader! Go Warhawks!

It was a busy 30 minutes driving back and forth across base but mom got everyone where they were supposed to be. Adaline's cheer was over at 5:45 on the south side of base and Jack’s basketball game started at 5:45 on the north side. Thankfully base isn’t very big. Jack’s team won again 11-4! 

We got a letter home last week saying Jack was getting awarded on the Principal’s Honor Roll for making straight A’s first semester. We thought it was a surprise but his teacher messaged me this morning because Jack didn’t think we were coming. Unfortunately dad is in the field and couldn’t make it but mom wouldn’t miss it for the world. We’re very proud of him!

These two have a 4 day weekend! We went down to the basketball courts again to practice and they rode their scooters around. Then we made our way over to the park for a bit.

 Jack's first two basketball games were back to back last night. The first game they won 21 to 11 and the second game they won 20 to 0. He's got a lot of work to do yet but he had so much fun!

We surprised the kids yesterday. While they were at school we redecorated their rooms. They were both excited but adaline was sad her unicorns were gone

Sweet Ads was helping herself to breakfast in the pantry yesterday

Ads has sensory processing issues and they’ve been coming out in full force with her cheer uniform. First the shoes didn’t feel right and there was many tears. The next day she tried them on again and she was running laps. Same with her cheer outfit. She couldn’t tolerate how the skirt and top touched her skin yesterday but trying it on again today, it was fine and now she’s super excited!

Adaline had her grades school dance last night she said she had fun dancing and got her face painted!

Jack has a school dance tonight. He wanted to wear his camo pants so the girls can’t see him and ask him to dance. When we showed up some kids were dressed up and I asked him if he wanted to go home and change and he said “nope, I’m good” this kid is something else

We went out to celebrate our anniversary early. The kids made some pretty great dinner dates! Ads is being a goof.
