J picked up Staff Sergeant today! 50(+/-) Marines showed up to support his promotion. Jack was thrilled to be able to pin on daddy's new rank with the help of Gunny Barber. Both kids were excited to play in the water after. Before the promotion started, Adaline was able to talk Lt Col into playing in the sand with her and she proceeded to yell at him when he stopped. She's the only one on that beach that could have gotten away with yelling at the CO!
